Vin de pays rouge des Côtes de Thongue


Varietals: Carignan, Syrah, Grenache Soil: Gravels with clay and limestone
Yields: 45 Hl/Hectare Harvesting: September
Wine Making: destemmed, short maceration with daily pumping-over
Ageing: In 500 litres oak barrels. Tasting: Red deep colour; perfumes of small black fruits, with spices (pepper). Well-bodied and opulent in the mouth, with spicy and woody notes. Long, with a velvety consistency. To be served with: Red and roast meats, mushrooms (cépes and chanterelles.)
To open :  and decant a couple of hours before the meal – best temperature: 18°C.
A wine which should be drink within 6 or 7 years.
